PHILIP'S 2005 WESLAKE
Saturday saw the arrival of my Weslake which I will be riding next season. As indicated previously, Michael will be riding exclusively the Team Small Laydown GM, whereas I have "gone retro" with a beatiful example of a vintage Weslake machine.
The bike has a British Antig chassis with a Brian sprung leading link front end. Click the thumbnmails below for images. Click "back" on your browser to return to this page.

SITE TIDY-UP AND FUTURE UPDATES
To say that I've been negligent to my regular and loyal website visitors would be an understatement. However, I could not have imagined how much time my new house would be sucking up. I've struggled even to find time to check my e-mails, let alone update the website.
Couple that with the inevitable off season lack of news and it's been tough. However, tonight I have been working hard and I have tidied up this "Latest News" page and have reinstated the "News Archives", something that has been missing since the "Big Site Revamp" mid Summer.
As well as that, I have started writing an ongoing article which will chart the various makes and models of speedway bikes fron the 1960's to the present day. I will release this article in sections as and when I think there is enough content to make for interesting reading.
So check back soon and on a regular basis for this exciting development. As a taster, and this may interest a certain Canadian Speedway rider #13, here's a couple of great pictures of Alan Graham's 1975 Weslake machine. Pictures courtesy of "Chris" on the Exeter Falcons "Workshop" pages.
On that note, I should be taking delivery of my very own Weslake machine within the next two weeks so I'll get some pictures posted as soon as I can!
Talk again soon, Phil #21
