Good CSRA Booth at Motorcycle Supershow
As always, the CSRA booth promoting Speedway Racing in Canada at the annual North American Motorcycle Supershow was a complete success.
Rob Dixon's superbly prepared Jawa twin cam was on display along with much other trivia, information and pictures etc.
The whole "Small family" were assisting on the stand on Saturday afternoon along with David "Bones" Hensby, his two daughters Charlotte and Emily and "Tiger" Tom Marriott. The biggest bonus however was to have our very own Canadian Hero Kyle Legault on the booth, with Dad "Hot Dog" Freddie also in attendance.
There was plenty of interest from the passing public and one can't help feeling that if only half the people showed to spectate that pledged their support at the show this past weekend, we would be in great shape.
I continue to hope year after year that this will come to fruition, and I see our future representation at the show annually as an absolute must.
So a huge thanks to everyone involved in helping over the three day show, especially to those involved in the set-up and break down of the booth on Thursday and Sunday respectively.
A reminder that this coming Saturday is the January CSRA meeting. 8:00pm at Aaron Hesmer's shop in Brantford. This is possibly one of the most important meeting for many a year with so many things in a transitional period. Please come and voice your opinions, and find out where the coming 2006 season is headed.
Hope to see you there,
Regards, Phil #21
